Project - Film Location Explorer :
The "Film Location Explorer" project aims to create a website with interactives maps that enhances tourism by guiding users to famous movie filming locations. This project merges two main features :
a geolocation of film sites : this first feature of the site allows users to discover information about the film and maps of filming sites nearby.
an interactive map : Once a user choose a significant location, they can access detailed information about the movie scenes filmed there, view photos, and read interesting anecdotes about the production. This feature not only informs users about the movies but also deepens their connection to the location, making it a memorable stop on their journey.
This project offers a unique blend of tourism and technology, providing both technical challenges and creative opportunities for students in website development and data integration. With Film Location Explorer, tourists can engage with the world of cinema in real time, experiencing the magic of film in the very places where iconic scenes were brought to life.
